About this author: Dave graduated from San Francisco State University in 2006 and currently works for an environmental consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. His primary interests are in fluvial geomorphology and seismology.

About this author: Peter is currently a Masters student at San Francisco State University where his research is focused on planetary geology and fluvial geomorphology. He is investigating the formation of dendritic channel networks on Titan, the largest moon of Saturn, through physical modeling and beginning work on thermal erosion in supra-glacial streams. Peter received his undergraduate degree in geology from San Francisco State in 2006.
