300 Posts and Counting

Posted on Wednesday 23 April 2008 by Dave Schumaker

Alright folks. We’re at post number 300 for the Geology News website! It’s been an interesting and exciting time since we began three years ago (nearly one year of which, I was unfortunately absent for). I’ve learned a lot during this time and I hope you have too.

Let’s take a stroll down memory lane.

Here are the current top 5 posts of all time for the website:

1.) Food - Erupting Volcano Cake
2.) Montana / North Dakota Has More Oil Than Alaska?
3.) Bakken Formation Could Boost Oil Reserves
4.) Most Detailed Map of San Andreas Fault
5.) Islamabad Sits on Five Major Fault Lines

Here’s to the next 300 posts. Hopefully they will happen much faster than three years!

Good thing you’re back at it, Dave…!

While not being a geologist myself, I really enjoy your site and now that it’s updated, it’s back on my daily reading list…! :)

    Keep up the good job.

    Hey Julien,

Thanks for the kind words. That’s awesome to know that you read it! Hopefully you crazy physicists are learning a thing or too as well. ;)

Great to hear from you again.
