My apologies for the lack of updates during the last month! I’m currently attending field camp in New Zealand and haven’t had much access to the internet. I’ll return to the United States in mid February!

If you’re in Onekaka at the Victoria Univerity hut (the old miner’s hut), you’re with the group that booked the place out before me and my geology buddies could (for a summer holiday, no less : ).
If that is the case, I’m extremely jealous due to your close proximity to the Mussel Inn.
I hope you’re enjoying our fabulous country, where ever you are.

Wow! That was probably us. We arrived there on December 28th and left there on January 2nd (even celebrated New Year’s Eve for a bit at the Mussel Inn and had dinner there on New Years Day).
Our group is currently at the University of Canterbury field station in Westport. It’s one of the nicest field stations that I have ever been too. I definitely love this country so far. :)
