Extra Hands?
I’m going to be out of town quite a bit throughout September (and will actually be planning a trip to New Zealand for all of January). So as my computer access becomes limited, the amount of geology news that gets posted on this site goes down as well. I’d definitely like to keep this site updated with “fresh” news.
Are there any readers who wouldn’t mind helping out and contributing directly to this site? That would basically involve posting geology news stories that they find interesting. It’s a fairly easy process and is all web based, since I use a system called WordPress. It’s quite easy to learn if you don’t know how to use it already.
The other upside of this would be the fact that we could get some people onboard who have different interests or expertise. This would help diversify the amount of geology news that gets covered on this site, since it’s pretty easy to see that I have a bias towards things relating towards earthquakes or climate change.
If you’re interested, or have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to email me. Or feel free to post below. However, I will be gone until Sunday night!
